Olde Country News is exactly that. News brought to you with a voice from the era when the “people” had a say. When there were citizen’s committees and neighborhood leaders (the aldermen of today) that were elected or put into a position to represent the people of their neighborhoods. These chosen people brought the concerns and interest to our officials who ran our municipalities and government. Our “voice” came from members of our community, not the hired help.

We here at Olde Country News want to tell your story, no matter the subject.  Let’s make Olde Country News a place to record your facts and figures. This is a newspaper that wants to make a stand to fight for and protect the people.

Society has drifted off into a logic of; “It isn’t my fault”, “I’m too busy”, or “It’s not my concern”.  Turning a blind eye is only postponing your fate…. And then who’s next?
